  • was the white thing cocane?

  • there was no margo, why was she listed in the opening credits?

  • the guy didn't have a mustache!

  • Where'd you get that puppet??? I can't find it anywhere!

  • nice airsoft gun

  • You did a great job!!!!! Loved the music and the special effects you used!!!!!!

  • I enjoyed this short film, it was not bad, and I liked it so much that I shall suscribe. Like I said before, the effects were good for a Youtube movie, and I'm impressed with the whole thing. great job. The score choice was good, and this film was pretty dark, no humour in it like the previous films. But if there was scenes meant to be funny, I've missed it. I can't wait to see some more videos from you, if you do any of course.

  • what is the name of the camera you used in this?

  • @cantosprofanae Sony PD-150

  • also u should of played critter skitter ( critter 1 theme)

  • u ate him up! damn u! damnu al 2 hell!

  • and music is epic well done

  • nice sound FX for the gun the FX is from the first part

  • awsome

  • how many of these things do you have?

  • Im sorry this was absolutely horrible..

  • very entertaining!!love the music too..

  • cool where can ia get a critter??they r so cute!!

  • Hey when you said "eat this" you should have said "EAT THIS MOTHER FUCKER!!" And shouted it not just saying it.

  • no no no, you should of said, " you like to eat? then how bout a plate of bullets!

  • Did you make those puppets by yourself or did you buy them from Ebay, Amazon or any website? And what kind of effects did you use? Are they still available?

  • I have a detailed video on how the puppets were made and constructed. Check it out if you're interested in puppet making. I made this quite a few years ago. I used photoshop, AlamDV, Final Cut Pro 1.1.

  • LOved the explosion it was awsome also if the explosion was that big you should have been in the road not the yard but still AWESOME!!!!!!!

  • Thanks! Glad you liked it.

  • This is amazingly great. Very professional. I will rate this 5/5. Plus I must favorite this film.

  • awesome... critters made me scared of my little sisters popples when I was younger.

  • Glad you liked it. I don't know what a "popple" is, but I'm glad you enjoyed my film.

  • dude you smoke

  • OMG that was a horrible film!!!!!!! so fake well of course fake but gez this was horrible!!!

  • Sorry you didn't like it. What, specifically, made this film so horrible?

  • ...and in the end he still didn't learn to light a cig.

Just watched all parts, good job. I like the (unintended?) references, the hand, the kitchen scene, murder at the christmas tree. There was kind of an 'Ash-thing' going on too.

Some scenes were a bit long for my taste, like the phone scene. Others could have used an extra take to loose the laughing for example.

    Nevertheless, nice work!

  • Great. I wish I had critters puppets. I make critters fan films myself, (i don't post them) and what i use for critters is a stupid wolf mask wrapped around a basketball. It looks like crap.

What special effects program do you use?

  • This film was made 5 or 6 years ago. I belive, at the time, I was using Final Cut 1.1, photoshop 4, and AlamDV2. These programs are so old, just get the updated versions.

  • How did you get your puppets? I know that really freaky looking one you made yourself. It is very well made. But how did you get the others?

  • I'm not sure what you mean by "freaky", but there are a variety of different types of Critter puppets used here. 2 of them are simple latex hand puppets. The critter the appears the most is my "hero" critter. He's a cable operated hand puppet capable of various facial expressions. He has a steel skeleton and silicone skin. His eyes move back and forth, lips curl into a snarl, eyebrows move up and down, and his eye lids blink. Also, his mouth opens and closes.

  • good job

i liked it i watched all 5 of them im a big critters fan i always loved the movies good job

  • really great movie, amazing critters puppets.

    Good job!!

  • ur using too manny fake fx man its a good movie but too much

  • the critters look so good love it that the guy is killing them while the other one is still eating

  • Ha,ha!! Great!

    I like the leading CritSTARrrrr!!!

Andy made this one, am I right?

  • loved it,. where did you get the puppets?

  • Believe it or not, some were actually made for this.

  • whats up with the sownd?

  • I made this short film years ago. At some point in time, I had problems with sounds that were loud on the sound track. So, there are parts where the sound effects and music go in and out. I never did figure out what happened, but it screwed up the film.

  • Dude, where do you buy your bug spray?! Seems like the pressure in that can might have been a little high.

  • No. From Signs.

  • Great job! Im impressed, could use a little acting skills, but keep up the good work!!!! :)

  • Wow, that was great, i can see you use fxhome products, i use those alot too. but let me ask you this, why is it that the creature that's attacking you almost always gets burned? Like in Dino Dreams, and in this one? Speaking of Dino Dreams, you should make a second one.

  • oh, also, I got the thing at the end, how after all this time, he finally lit his cigarette!

  • Wow i know i post alot but man that is some good film makeing good job critters was a good serise to do but definatly keep it up :)

  • where did you get all those gnarly puppets?

  • Different sources. One was commissioned by me and made by an FX artist, another one was made for Critters 1, Another one was mass produced by New Line Cinema, I made the critter balls.

  • that must of cost a but load of money. they remind me of grimlins

  • ha ha he finally got to light his smoke

  • Thank you!! Finally someone understands the humor and payoff at the end of the film. He spends the entire film trying to light that smoke.

  • how did you do the glass effect???

  • This was done using AlamDV2 I believe. AlamDV2 was an old program that would allow basic compositing and manipulation of simple CGI objects. I have to warn you that what you see here is old. Most of what you see here can be done using programs like particle illusion, FXhome products, blender, etc. All said programs are free to cheap programs.

  • Critters Rocks! Good job on the film!

  • The critter pistol whip was awesome.

  • im sorry dude its marginal for a fan made film the only thing that really lets it down is the acting. i wasnt just slating it just so u know.

  • Thanks for the feedback!! Sorry you didn't like it that much. I had fun making this, however. It was made entirely by one person; me. So, I was a little limited on characters and resources.

  • there called crites

  • this is so lame. i love the critters movies but the acting in this is unbelieavely bad

  • Sorry you didn't like this one that much. I did what I could with the tools I had.

  • Hey!I'm a spanish big Critters fan and I'm looking for the puppets.Where did you find them?Thank you!

  • The puppets you see here aren't easy to come by, and since a couple of them are 1 of a kind, you can't buy them anywhere. None of these puppets can be purchased anywhere.

  • the critters are great...but the muzzle flashes are lacking

  • That was fun! I especially liked the effect at 05:54. Honestly? Since I've found Youtube & people like this guy, I don't even care for the tv. I get to watch and learn about far more interesting people. I'm also a Star Wars fan, and I like your other movies too... Thanks Blais. It's people like you that keep this world from being too boring.

  • Gee, Thanks! If you like what you've seen so far, I have more in the works. I'm currently working simulaneously on 3 different short films. The first is a Star Wars fan film called "Purge", based loosely on the dark Horse comics. The second is an X-men filmed called the Trial of Cyclops. The third is a short about the down fall of Kermit the frog. I work alone, so my shorts come slowly.

  • You should see if the Sci-Fi channel will show it

  • yee this was pretty good. those critters puppets are AMAZING

  • Glad to hear you had fun watching it! The puppets are fun. I'm a big animation fan. Stop motion, animatronics, CGI. bringing inadimate objects to life is fun. Giving them character is even more fun.

  • This is some really great stuff. I can't wait to see what you'll do next!

  • I just completed Raindeer Games a couple weeks ago. I have a couple more short films in the works. I have a short about Kermit the frog, and another short Star Wars film called, "the Trial of Vader". This one focuses on Vader's purge of the Jedi and is inspired by the Dark Horse comics.

  • haha that was pretty sweet. well done man.

  • Thanks! Glad you had fun with it. That's what it's all about!

  • Incredible! You're awesome! Keep It Up!

  • Wow, glad you liked it! Rather surprising, really. Most people on youtube seem to use it to Vlog and communicate with one another like e-mail. It's good to hear that some people are actually interested in creative/film content. Camera = Sony PD=150, Software = Final Cut Pro + EffectsLab + iMovie.

  • holy cow!

this rocked, some of the best 40 min i have spent on youtube yet!

    what software do you use?

    what camera?

your special FX are top notch,

    this made my night. thanks!!!

P.S: your a bad shot with that gun. LOL
