TREYARCH!!!! In MW3 you have to level up your gun and then you can get gold camouflage. In bo you have to prestige 14 times, that's a challenge. You can play MW3 for like 4 hours with the same gun, level it up and get gold. In black ops you have to prestige 14 times so that's just more challenging in my opinion.

I thought it was the other way around with having more to do in COD. In MW2 besides killing people, getting headshot challenged to unlock camouflages, you had to work on an attatchment to get another and I thought that was pretty nice. In BO you can just buy everything, even in split screen.

I liked the Infinity Ward way of getting Gold Camo. I just think it should take 2-3 times as long though so that you actually feel accomplished. In MW3 it takes about 800ish kills to level up a gun from 1-Gold. Make it more like 2500.

I like the Modern Warfare 3 way to get Gold camo. Although you have to be a 14th Prestige to get Gold camo on Black Ops, it looks a lot better than Modern Warfare 3's Gold. In my opinion, the MW3 Gold looks like gold tinfoil, and it looks bad.

@TheJimmyjr999 Gold guns on either game is just a matter of time played - with Black Ops it was "get to 14th prestige", with MW3 it's "use the gun a lot", but MW3 golds come way quicker. Once you hit 14th the BlOps golds do come quickly, but even then you need 50G for each gun.

infinity ward way for gold guns was better in my opinion. some people may want and deserve gold guns, but don't have time to get to 14th prestige. And 50,000 cod points takes a long time to get considering you get about 1500 a game, that's like 45 games which is A LOT and don't talk to me about wager matches that is the worst feature to ever hit call of duty. in mw3, you don't get them quickly unless you spend FOREVER on the game getting to 90000 xp isn't easy, but it beats 3arc's way
