Good song, nice back up vocals, but the lead vocalist is just too weak to make this a true classic. Try to imagine this band with this song with someone who can put much more energy in it; like let's say John Waite of the Babys, and it would have worked out fine. And a bit more charisma please, in stead of sticking to well studies r'n'r gestures like a circus pony doing its show...
No that would be the band Farrenheit from Boston. The band consists of Charlie Farren, David Hull, and John Muzzy. Farren and Hull both have played with the Joe Perry Project; Hull is currently on tour with them this year. Muzzy has been a longtime member of the band Beatlejuice: a Beatles tribute band that included Brad Delp from Boston up until his unfortunate passing.
@Nostewitsch that's because in USA, I think, there was some kind of radios that played not only the singles, but the songs from the albums, properly. That kind of radio was called Album-Oriented Radio, so the bands who used to play in these radios were called AOR (Album-Oriented Rock)
WAS THAT LIVE?????

I could be mistaken but I believe this is the band that opened for Boston on their Third Stage tour when I saw them perform at The Joe in Detroit.

AOR means Adult-Oriented-Rock!
This kind of music is in Europe also known as West Coast Rock.

I've seen it a lot and always wondering what it was.
Thanks. !!!

Isn't it Album-Oriented-Rock?
NyteShift6 2 years ago 2
Unclear. I reckon it can mean both "album" or "adult".

@PauloSimmonsStanley Noooo is Adult Oriented Rock
rulabdn 1 year ago
@rulabdn the name "Adult Oriented Rock" came later.
Because adults tends more to buy albums than singles, that's because Album Oriented Rock became Adult Oriented Rock, later ^^

@NyteShift6 both.

@kanat967 kinda slower softer songs/ballads, hair bands, such as europe, winger, whitelion, bon jovi danger danger, that stuf.
kissfan59474 1 year ago
@kanat967 No, AOR is AOR, Westcoast is Westcoast, both styles fall into the same style but still a bit different.
AORCrazy 8 months ago
@kanat967 I thought West Coast Rock was actually a subgenre of AOR?

Got the album and to be honest this is the only good song, the rest are just poor. Get Giant, or Valentine much better than this...
