Re: an elder requirement of being the husband of one woman - Paul was writing to people who practiced polygamy, which was never a problem for women. Given that, why would he bring up women? It's a given that women would be the wife of one man.
You made a great statement that I have been saying for awhile on youtube. The Spirit of God will NEVER EVER go disaccord of what the word say. It is IMPOSSIBLE. That would make God divided and the spirit not apart of the perfect all true everliving God. GOD FORBID. People need to stick to the word & stop looking for ridiculous loopholes where there is none. Women Bishops Lock, CD Miller, Hunter, Rheems, Travett & whoever. ARE WALKING IN ERROR. Whoever supports them is guilty of the same.
Excellent video. I don't why this is much of a topic anymore. The bible is clear in this matter. When we review the scripture literally, by observation & example thru the true apostles. There are no women who led the church. As you said it's not about degenerating the role of women. The have a wonderful role. Teach the younger women & children. I'm surprise with NYTN postion in the matter. This wave of women coming out is of the devil. Bishop Locke or whomever are disobedient to God's word.
Wormanatti, I haven't actually stated my 'position' on the matter of women pastors. I have simply asked QUESTIONS about the reasoning used to deny women in that position. And frankly, some of the reasoning used either makes no sense, or is not found anywhere in scripture.
Just because I ask questions doesn't mean I disagree with something. This will be made clear in a follow up.

I can guarentee you the average viewer will say you hold the position that women can pastor, bishop or etc. This is not the 1st time that you have intentionally or unintentionally led one to believe you hold that position by information, comments, challenges or whatever in the matter. This video we are commenting in is proof of my thought. I hope you clarify your position. I respect what you do. That's why I'm surprised.
This is a very interesting discussion and I want to comment not on the subject matter but on the demeanor and attitude of the speaker. There is an issue of "what" we say but another important factor in a dialogue is the "attitude and demeanor" used to express our point of view. Eric, I am not familiar with you but I would hope that everyone on youtube would be able to express their disagreements with as much grace and courtesy as you have done.
I appreciate your comment more than you may know. I am sure that there are some areas where we would disagree, and if that time arises, I hope that my demeanor and attitude would be consistent so that while we may disagree, we can honor Christ in the way in which we disagree. solus Christus
Amen! God is truly sovereign in all of His ways, and is not controlled by the will or rudiments of mankind. So now, as we can see how the stucture of this earth, was made with man being first, then the woman, so it is with the very construct of the Body Of Christ. Christ is the head of the Church, the second Adam (MAN) as was Eve, (WE) being the Bride Of Christ, the woman second in creation. God has his divine order, all things in Him, being done decently.

"Intro to women in ministry."Though it was an interesting class, it was not structured well and subsequently I left with and even more confused idea of the argument. It was like they assumed that everyone was on the pro side of the argument and conducted the class as such. Consequently, a lot of the questions I had were never answered.You and Eric's video have helped a lot.I will continue to study this.
