I also now have a bad haircut. Today got it:(. I was also growing my hair( and they were already quite long) and asked just to cut a little, now I have really short hair. "Thanks!" Just awful!!! So frustrated. But now when I see that someone also have had bad haircut, it makes me feel better;) Maybe it is not nice, but then I am not the only one...Still so frustrated. And there are some short strands on one side( on the other side it is not so short strands-just terrible!):((

You guys are way too nice. I've seen women raise hell in salons for a lot less than getting a cut that is COMPLETELY NOT what they wanted. Melissa, you need to complain on the spot, before you get out of the chair, and make sure the manager hears it. They'll offer you some kind of compensation. Either way, I would switch salons. There is no excuse for hearing what you want, comfirming that you want to keep it long, and then hacking it off. (I am curious about how the a-line looks on you though.)

Haha I am a guy, and I used to have long hair, like down to mid chest. But when it came to the idea that my hair looked ridiculous the TRIMS were just blown out of proportion, like all I say was like 2 inches. All over and boom cuts some length off, then washes my hair, and cuts some more off, and using those terms. I am gonna texturized it, so it just goes on for however many minutes. I get nightmare, nightmare sometimes. lol. anyways, when you get a bad haircut you have to just work with what you got. style it. and if you want it longer, you should look into extensions. now they can be a bit prices. but if you have thin hair, it shouldn't be too bad.

It sucked. And there was another time many years ago when I used to wear my hair in a mohawk. It took me like a year to grow it to about a foot high, and I got it cut once and it was down to like six inches after that. I was so angry.

If you said something along the lines of "I'd like to keep it shoulder length" then I'd expect a full refund since you didn't get what you paid for, but if you left it as "keep it long, but not so long in the back" then "long" is up to interpretation and I would expect a discount on the haircut.

I'm in the process of growing my hair long, and i ask the barber to just trim the back a little, since my cousin was making funny my hair looking like a mullet. SUPPOSEDLY!

So, after we were done, if wasn't what i ask for.... it was too damn short, took me 7 months to grow hair, now gone :( it wasn't that long, but still, have to Re-grow it again.

Im there right now....on the hair thing...Ive only found hope in finding good headwear...hats, headbands, bandanas, etc...So im not sure what to tell you. haha
