One thing I like about masonry is it doesn't expect perfection - it acknowledges light and dark. Finally, in his twenties Manly P Hall lectured extensively on the occult the passage you quote was taken out of context, it was on summoning of spirits, and what a demonic contract might look like, he never said he entered into one and certainly never spoke about masons in that text. I despair of people who don't bother with research.

@mrtruthify Really, what I've said is easily verifiable, the publishing date for the book is 1928, he didn't become a mason until 1954 and as I said there is no record of his being accorded the 33rd. As for knowing the craft, I do know it by repeated trials and approbations. I doubt you know very much as you merely repeat what fundamentalists have stated out of context, claims which have been reliably refuted time and again.

Anyway, I know it's the 32nd degree which is Worshipful Master. I was a Rainbow girl and I was Worthy Advisor. It's a branch off of Freemasonry. My dad didn't pursue a 33rd degree which is the highest and then one is usually asked into the illuminati from what I heard.

I even discussed this with my father when he was alive. You are probably talking about the Eastern Star which is a branch off of the Masons for women. Women can never attend a Masonic meeting. And if your father was a 33rd he would be called illustrious. A past worshipful master is someone that sits in the east for the first 3 degrees, which are, and should not be confused with, the scottish rite degrees which go up to 33 and are based on 32 paths of the cabalistic tree. You're right about this picture. This is the only one I could find since I moved. I did have his apron in my house. It's somewhere in the addict. However, I remember seeing him in the middle with the top hat and white gloves which was a later pictures. He is past worshipful master 32nd degree, Southampton Lodge 806, PA.

I did show one pic of my father. I had his apron, but since I moved I can't find it. My father still paid his dues, but stopped at 32nd degree Past Worshipful Master. He was a member in the USA, PA, Southampton Lodge #806.
