Oh, wow. There's spam crap on youtube , too? It doesnt get real far here. Ob my game the people tell you to "post this on 5 shirts and press F1 and you will get 1,000,000,000 dollars. It's dumb either way. And the game
Looks awesome. Im going to get it. Maybe. If i have enough money. And if my computer gets all its viruses gone. And if the graphics card starts finally working.
Hi i recently bought a saitek x52 and run on vista, (my computer could run this without breaking a sweat )but would this game be compatible with vista and joystick!!
hi there,i just wanted to ask ,about teh saitek x52...i want to buy one ,,but they told me it has a lot of problems and compatibility....any advices.thx alot.
hey guys is hawx a really cpu dependent game like fsx? i hope not....and will i be able to run this game at MAX settings (i mean resoultion and all A.A.) (plus the settings and detail). SPECS:
This is a game, and as such is designed to be easier to use than a simulator. I noticed on the video full control displacement, something no real pilot would do unless absolutely necessary, which comes to show that the aircraft is controlled with the keyboard. For a full experience, one needs a decent joystick with a throttle slider( a MS Sidewinder is a good start) and about an hour's worth of practice. In the hands of an experienced pilot, with no aids, this game should put up quite a show!!!
@AftComet I don't specialise in millitary aircraft(i.e. fighter jets), but I know people who do and I have had a fair amount of experience on the millitary training simulators(ones that DO handle like the real thing). As for real aircraft - I have recently got a solo flight in a two seater powered aircraft, but other than that i have now over 750 hours on CAA spec simulations, so I know what to expect out of most situations.
Hmm I actually havent played it - what I see - a bit better than Hawx, but still a bit too arcade stylish. Lock On really makes you feel like what the real thing should be about - but it also lacks some sideline history - "Strike Commander" - that was an awsome storyline, where you earned money as a fighterpilot for hire and made deals with the IRS as on the sideline making your own storyline. Think the gameplay of beeing a slave to a storyline which is only made out of cutscenes is shallow.

Too much arcadestyle and lack of realism to my taste - I pass and go on playing Lock On
