I used to have this cartridge before, and the Super Mario Bros. one is totally unplayable with my system(a bootleg Famicom), the game will freeze after i press the start button.

I cant play with SMB too, i have a weird video glitch in my famiclone, the playfield moves around, and the game is almost unplayable on most levels, i also have some problem with other games, maybe because they are in NTSC format( like in my Wolverine bootleg cart).

I don't know.On my cartridge,it's called small mario,as you can see.This could be a not so bad game,when the sound effects not rape my ears.When i recoded this,i used a headphone.You can imagine the rest....

If you have flea market in you country,then search there for a famiclone.i live in hungary,so we have plenty of chinese stores,and flea markets.I buyed one from my former classmate with a bunch of cartridges.I don' think if these pirate carts fits into any original nes.

Yes, we have one flea market and one chinese store in our town, but I can buy only cartridges there :-(. Everybody tell me that I can not buy the console anywhere. BTW I live in Czech republic

I could buy one for you,but the delivering is a serious problem.But if you can someghow aquire one,then i can give some advice to make these famiclones live longer,because most of them are very shitty.The cheapest famiclone i can find costs 3 euro.But these need some upgrades or else they die in one month.

BTW The problem with my famicom is that the joysticks (or how is it called) are damaged, and I can not change them.

Yes, the buttons do not work or do something else (for example: if I push A button, the game will pause, as if I push Start button).

Disassemble the controller,and if it doesn't contain a black little thing(some chip),then it can be repaired.Maybe the wires shorted some circuit.

No, it does not contain a black little thing. My grandpa said that the problem is in the cable, which is between joystick and console. Some wires are broken, so we think that there is only one way how to repair it: buy a new cable. But where?
