  • honestly i love the idea of the lemur but could never figure out how to properly jam, thanks to your vid somethin just clicked :) thanks

  • @zendeeQ241 with any hardware you use, it's all about the planning of the songs!

  • seriously, I dont like the voices... But you're still using very good that Lemur... Like (Y)

  • RIP Jazzmutant

  • Truly lucky to have this tool at your disposal. it is a shame how jazz mutant stopped producing the lemur. ive seen and used the same software on the ipad but it is not the same.

  • So Sad that Jazzmutant will not be producing any more Lemurs. Lemur was too damn expensive, especially when the ipad is 1/4th price and will do other important things like netflix and facebook.

  • I want one so bad after seeing how Daft Punk uses these Live and its badass! But I cant afford it, and im only 14 lol

  • @GreenDayRulez54 im 13 and i almost got one until i found out they are not making them anymore WHYYYYYYYYY

  • @rockandroller34 Ugh yeah it sucks! And I bet they were selling so well.

  • @rockandroller34 its being released on ipad for 50 bucks... clearly not as flawless but hey it does its job.

your 13 who almost got a jazzmutant? how long have u been screwin around with electronic music? if i started at 13 i would be a millionare by now :P

  • @zendeeQ241 5 years

  • Epic!!! Nice song man!!! Daft Rules!

  • Daft Punk! hell yeh!

  • How in the world did you separate the channels to remove the percussion in the other songs?

  • warp better

  • Gay

  • ok bishop let me get this right:

that GOD tool can do everything a dj whats on a ableton

u can loop, filter and shit like that...u can even mix, that makes it pretty more awsome..and it cost like 1,000 dollars.

my point is : FUCK YEAH...I WANT 1 BITCHES !!! jk jk i can't afort one but someday i will...but im looking forward for a tutorial about how can u mix and shit like that thanks !!!

  • @japanhatake100 Rumour has it that the ipad will soon be midi enabled, if so i suspect they might release the software as an app, so you might still be able to afford one yet.

  • @sheepyuea TOUCH OSC ITS ALREADY OUT FOR IPAD

  • @sheepyuea ha i allready have one ipad, ( x-mas gift) yeeehaa thanks dude !!!!!!

  • crazy awesome dude. you got skill

  • The rapping ruined it all.

  • Dude that was awesome, would you mind sharing the set?

  • That was freaking awesome!! Man I wish I had the money for a Lemur =/

  • i wish i could afford one. i would be able to do way more than what most do.

  • what an awesome equipment

    cool vid

  • Not the smoothest mix in terms of timings, but still very very good. Really showed what ableton and the lemur is capable of. Gotta add that i am ridiculously jealous of that controller. Would give my left arm for one.

Might be an idea to apply a couple of filters to several of the samples to cut out some of the frequency overlaps. It would make your mix one hell of a lot cleaner.

Keep it up, i'll watch your channel and hope to see some more mixes along these lines :D

  • how on earth did you combine your video like that??? class

  • Software called Screen Flow

  • thank you, good video

  • very good!! :):):):):):)

  • lol you totally made the "rock rock to the planet rock" drop and put some effects on it. good effort, nice job bringin in one more time

  • That Lemur is just wicked but I gotta say, Ean looks a lot cooler twiddling knobs, faders, platters, and arcade buttons than you do touching a screen...

  • Its not really about looking cool though, its about getting a decent sounding track out at the end.

Hell daft punk themselves could be DJing in a club for me, and unless they put out a decent set i wouldnt rate them any better than a wedding dj.

Talent is talent. Looks are irrelevant. (sorry if this comes across as aggressive, its not to be :D )

  • Nah not at all, I totally agree with you, the important thing is the sound in the end. But the looks are part of the package, not to mention the feel... I much prefer knobs and faders to touch interfaces, but I've never played with a lemur so who knows.

  • You both bring up great points. This argument happens all the time when talking about controllerists vs dj's. I guess I could set up cue points where I am doing more work(button pressing). Usually when I perform, I set up a camera over my lemurs(I have 2 now) so people can see what I am doing.

  • wish i could afford 1, let alone 2.
