And just so youn know the missing persons units phone number is (03) 6230 2661 or the national missing persons number is 1800 000 634, its not even a 13 number at all. In Tasmania there is no such thing as Department of Missing Persons, It's infact just called Missing Persons Unit!.

Tasmanian numbers are not as you describer, that is Australian emergency number, 000 isn't 6 numbers? And neither is the missing people unit, they want to make it easy!

I dunno, it seems like a prank to me. Maybe they're promoting something, like viral marketing? But then again, it's been on the news and stuff, if it WAS fake, they'd probably get into a lot of trouble. Didn't it say something about another video in the Examiner? A security camera tape or something, was found of them? So they're obviously not dead.
