Great jam at the end, Blu! I'm currently watching some of your vids from before I subscribed. I should really go watch some of Neph's and ShockofGod's, but I get enough bits and pieces from your BluRants to see I'm not missing anything, sort of like instinctively knowing one shouldn't watch hours and hours of Sarah Palin. You're doing great things with this channel, Blu. Carry on!
In the event that a real evolutionary biologist took up Drunky's challenge, but only had 3999 subscribers, he would use the shortage of a single subscriber as an excuse to wiggle out of the debate before he got humiliated again.
Well Neph certainly makes the effort to block the likes of us with only a few hundred subscribers when he is being completely pwned so he must have an ulterior motive in limiting those who can debate him. Mind you we have already seen that when it came to the crunch he manufactured a cancellation of the debate with DonExodus. He is just a dishonest fool.
No it wasn't pre-recorded. He actually took calls and did respond to the comments in the chat. Although in a way that he could assert his points and ignoring corrections (he actually countered with the wrong examples a few times)
Neph doesn't care about debating evolution, he just wants notice. Anybody with a brain can see through pretty much any creationist argument out there especially Neph's. This is why creationism is not respected by science, they can't withstand peer review
I think he probably also wants to have people to "evangelize." I would also debate Nephilimfree. I don't have any experience with a formal debate setting, but I have seen most of creationist argument's.
Neph's response to many challenges to his claims is "go look it up on Google!"
Neph's response to show how he's right is "evolutionists just want to deny God!"
Neph can't debate, because he doesn't understand what the word entails. He wants the high sub counts on the other people for *his* exposure. He gets pwned by people with just 20 subscribers, but 20 subscribers won't make him more popular.
Nephi wants his name to gain credibility through recognition, not intellectual debate. Even though Tide laundry detergent has nothing to do with engines, it still sponsors Nascar. Same principle here, name recognition, not relevance.
Like all creationist debaters, Neph is seeking an audience, not an academic engagement--simplest explanation for the subscriber issue. Reaching a large audience of Youtube subscribers is essential since creationists can't get into the peer reviewed journals. Its just like when Hovind holds creationism meetings in school gyms and church basements--he wouldn't get past the security at an actual science forum.
Its amazing (pathetic?) how predictable the creationist's play-book is.
Neph is the second messiah. All his words come directly from God.

It has to be elitism.

Nice playing (without the buzzing that i usually make). Maybe you should compose a song "Ode to Nephilmfree".

@CollinMaessen Hmm.... I thought I would be kicked off for calling him a coward and generally criticising him...
I left after about 20 minutes, so I dont think Isaw many calls. He certainly didn't take a look at comments in chat while I was there
BluJugganaut 1 year ago
@BluJugganaut He tends to rant for at least an hour before anything happens like taking calls. So you left way to early. ;)
And he does look, every 20 to 30 minutes or so....

@vnorthru He wants a platform to evangelise from. Don't worry though, we can stop him by refuting his crap =D

It's just about publicity. The more subs, the more publicity.

@owchywawa He tries to use obscure sources, which is the only problem

It's just another arbitrary criterion for him to limit the pool of challengers.

@csbair He could be beaten in a debate by an inanimate object =P Subs don't matter.

You should put Nephie in a cage, now that is an interesting subject to study, it is behaviour. :)

@Tylzen i doubt he would agree. Plus it's dangerous to keep him in a place without foam walls =P
