Korea's regard for their elders is something to be looked up to. And this movie is an embodiment of that culture. Thanks Wing for sharing this. :) Yup, The Way Home was released (2002 iicr) before the "Korean Wave" hit Asia but this film grabbed tons of awards and is considered to be one of the best in Korean film archives. It's a simple indie from a newbie director and remarkably, was embraced by the public and redeemed tons of raves, locally and abroad. ^.^
