@OhOk616 the tbh in the dfh theres some alright sounds liek you can get a good snare from it with some EQ tweeking but yea, it was a let down, metalheads kit though is fair sick.
@kentsmedblom In my opinion this particular expansion is the worst from the collection, and it's rather useless.
It sounds "computer-like" if you know what i mean. The drumkit from hell is great though, and is also a must if you want to record metal. The jazz expansion is probably the best one, but rather useless if you just don't like jazz.
It CAN be used with logic, and i think you can use your kit with triggers as long as they have midi outputs.
R&B, Hip hop and pop?? Fuck you... Metal all the way \m/

I have a few questions, Im thinking about getting this and the metal expansion.
It has a lot of already recorded tracks it sounds like?
Im wanting to use the metal part for practicing metal because I've heard its a huge library or samples and you can change tempo and things.
I was wondering can this be used with logic as well, can i take a track and put it into logic and play with the midi.
Also I have a crap kit with mesh heads, could i just get triggers then use this for sounds? Andrew.

+ great new cymbals (my fav: 18'' paiste medium lite china =)
+ snears and kicks with extraordinary sounds
+ nice grooves (funk, latin, rudament, hip hop)
+ lots of kit pieces, also handclap, footstamp, ...)
+ effects included (cho, rev, dist, atck)
- distortion sounds strange to me.
- only one tom set (premier gen-x 10 12 14 16'') but each with 5 variations
sounds like the drums of the band dredg on the album 'catch without arms' :)
hope u understood :D
