I'm still working on walking, but the swelling in my legs is finally down enough to be able to put on my brace :) Walking is getting a bit smoother, but still working on standing balance. The other day I stood for two whole minutes without holding onto anything! It's not much to some, but it's the world to me! No new videos of walking yet, but hopefully soon! Keep up the fight, YolnJal! I think of this song everytime I get sad about my disease. I was diagnosed with Osteoporosis last year at the age of 29. I suffered 12 spinal compression fractures and lost 3.5 inches in my spine alone. I was unable to hold myself up let alone walk, but I refused to stop trying. Even the specialist said I would not be able to fix this. Well, today as I type this not only can I stand, but I can walk many miles. I have faith we can overcome anything!

I think of this song while I try to learn to walk again. I had spinal surgery in February, and ever since I've been restricted to a wheelchair, but it's not going to stop me from getting to where I need to be. The doctors told me I'll be able to walk again, so that's all I can think about now. I'm trying my hardest, especially since insurance won't cover my rehab anymore, but they won't stop me either. Long road ahead, but someday I'll be walking down it :)
