I think usc needs to go to a power run game and a wide open passing attack as as for the defence just take out 54, 18 and put in 55 and 23. Hey and put 70 in at RG.

His 2008 team was LOADED; 11 players were drafted that spring, with 5 players going in the first 2 rounds (Mark Sanchez, Brian Cushing, Clay Matthews, Rey Maualuga, Fili Maola)!! 'SC was depleted in 2009, and Pete still managed to go 9-4 (#22 in the country). However, they had a top 10 recruiting class that year. Make no mistake: Pete was reloading. He did not "suck" his last two years.
@1ASUalumni ya the 12-1 team was real good but they recruited by kiffin and coach O 3 yrs before, but if you see how the next yrs team played they were terrible. Marcus allen and a few other former players said while losing to stanford they just didnt seem to care on the side lines. Now if you look at the recruits pete got once kiffin and coach O left ya they were good classes that never really do much. We lost out on mante teo and the arizona st MLB and a few others .
Well what happened to all the joy about "stealing" Lane Kiffin from Tennessee. USC needs to do a big favor and fire him at the end of the season. It will not get any better. Go back and watch the Florida vs Tennessee game that Kiffin coached. Down 10 at the start of the 4th quarter. Easy to overcome in a quarter. We ran singleback for 3 downs then punted. No shit! He wanted to keep the game close. 6 passes in the 4th quarter down 10 points and had the ball 4 times. You wanted him you got him!
FYI. They presented basically the same offense in the Missouri game. My job isn't to play football and I know that much. So...less movie making and more film time might be in order.

@uscbigdawg 10-2 season is pretty good all things considered. It seems to me they have been in the film room Kiffin's done/doing a great job as a coach. But that's just my opnion, but there's always people who are gonna hate.

Kiffin will always be a 8-4 coach. Not good enough. If we go 6-6 maybe we will be rewarded with his departure. He has done nothing to deserve the head coaching job at USC.
@dfcoinc dont think lane kiffin wil have success at usc.his play calling and scheme are predictable.he has to give different looks.use #22 at rb.not cause of the recent loss but kiffin and staff should be replaced at the end of the year! no sense in keeping him another year.the players do not respond on either side of the ball.we have not got 4 1/4's football from a trojan team sice pete mailed it in his last year. time for new bloode and a new phylosophy.
@dfcoinc I'm also not impressed with the sideline, in the Carrol era the sideline would never sit still vs. the Kiffin era the sideline shows no emotion, its very disappointing from a fan's view and i'm still waiting for Baxter or Prater showcase their talent...
@Champ523 you are absolutly correct! the defense was not prepared, they did not get 4 qtr's from the players.they thaught asu would lay down after the 2 3rd quarter touch downs. the staff did not motivate in the 2nd part of the 2nd half. offensive line mailed it in for no reason and stopped protecting the passer while being down.
