Btw, if anybody's interested, the neck isn't thin, it's thinner than a 'Paul or a Schecter, but 1 or 2 mm make all the difference, not to mention that it has a pretty shallow 'D' profile; it's not a fast neck, not compared to an RG.

Im not the poster, but its actually super light. No brridge/ tremolo takes offa lot of weight. Its made of Mahogany too! When i first picked it up I thought it was basswood!

your better off using a 7 string.. i do not know how does emmure and acacia strain pulls it off with tuning to A on a six string but its a fact that you will loose tuning because its to low for a six string, however you can manage for some time with a 6 tuned to A.

In fact it does matter due to sound quality.. i used to use a 56 gauge and tune to A and i lost tuning all the time until i got a guitar set up for the tuning A and used a THICKER SIZE LIKE .60 GAUGE and now its just like KoRn.

i play the new munky signature series K-7. before that i was playing a 1997 ibanez black universe. they discontinued that model because now they make All axis necks for ibanez if you know what i mean by all axis. if you wanna use a A tuning for a six string try a different set gauge size. I use blue steel dean markey and i buy a separate bass string. go to your local guitar shop and ask them for bule steel DT. You can settle for the JZ pack but your better off with the DT pack.

Yes, spasticleworld was way off. Try the 7- string sets on the 6 string or even try using Heavy Bottom Ernie Balls. I tuned to B nicely in those if youre going for standard 7 tuning
