You know I was a Apple fan.I first started with the Iphone 2G and then the HTC Hero and switched back to the iPhone 4.but I missed doing everything so I sold my iPad, Iphone 4 and bought a Xoom 3G(Tiamata Rom) and got a Samsung Galaxy S2(Miui Rom). I then immediatly customized it as I wanted it to be and downloaded apk's and installed them without a hassle.

I have been an Iphone 3gs user for years. After android was released I was reluctant to even look at it as I felt nothing could compete with IOS. But my friend forced me to look at Froyo. I sold my Iphone a week later and got myself an Android HTC Desire. It was awesome!! The OS is so integrated and FAST~~ It has FLASH!! Apple is just so arrogant to even introduce flash to this date (Ipad 2 - No flash)

@nokia9able u should have gotten an HTC like me ;) But have a look at the XDA Developer Forums. I am sure you will find easy ways to update your non-htc phones aswell.
Why should you want to get an iOS phone without being able to use shitloads of features that you would get with an android phone. Oh and btw... the money you put into the Android "Updates" (which you don't have to, see above) you'll spend on a single iphone ;)
@benZZZgomeZZZ im an iphone user and will switch to android when my contract is up but i have to say that the app store is like no other, and the fact that when you play a game or use an app the app is intended specifically for the phone you have, android doesnt work like that. I would like for google to give requisites for a phone to be able to carry android (specific screen size, specific processor power), that would help a lot, htc desire and evo are a good play to start
@chrisgangsta sorry but i havent encountered that problem. Developers make their apps for Android 2.1, 2.2 or 2.3... screen resolution and the like is irrelevant. And if it was relevant.... then that would be just an app development issue. It's like sayin "ya well, we're gonna make this game/software but only for DELL Computers cuz we're too lazy to develop for these and those mainboards. PC users do indeed confront a lot of incompatibility issues (videocard/CPU) but it's nothing you can't fix.
@nokia9able galaxy will have the 2.3 and 2.3.3 (there is no 2.4 yet) updates coming. It's really upto the vendor to release the update to the phone not google's. Usually HTC and Samsung have a history of releasing updates for their old phones while Sony Ericsson doesn't. You can always root your phone and put 2.3.3 in it. XDADevelopers web site has many roms there,

If ya buy an android phone, like if its got 2.2, like lets take HTC Desire HD or Z, now is it gonna have all the updates, even at least up to 2.4 or some, now if a business guy goes for android phone, and then he comes to know about 2.3 update which improves the performance n all, even can open zip files, I know its may be not necessary but isn't it cool to update your phone and seeing like whats new in it, am not an android hater,

I got Sony Ericsson x10, now I can't get 2.3 in it, my brother got galaxy s with 2.2, now both of the phones can't be updated to 2.3 and 2.4 is on its way, besides my cousin got iphone 3g with 4.2, now I'll definitely prefer Apple in such case cus I do not got enough money to spend on a new cell phone just for a fuckin update

@nokia9able u should have gotten an HTC like me ;) But have a look at the XDA Developer Forums. I am sure you will find easy ways to update your non-htc phones aswell.
Why should you want to get an iOS phone without being able to use shitloads of features that you would get with an android phone. Oh and btw... the money you put into the Android "Updates" (which you don't have to, see above) you'll spend on a single iphone ;)

@benZZZgomeZZZ im an iphone user and will switch to android when my contract is up but i have to say that the app store is like no other, and the fact that when you play a game or use an app the app is intended specifically for the phone you have, android doesnt work like that. I would like for google to give requisites for a phone to be able to carry android (specific screen size, specific processor power), that would help a lot, htc desire and evo are a good play to start

@chrisgangsta sorry but i havent encountered that problem. Developers make their apps for Android 2.1, 2.2 or 2.3... screen resolution and the like is irrelevant. And if it was relevant.... then that would be just an app development issue. It's like sayin "ya well, we're gonna make this game/software but only for DELL Computers cuz we're too lazy to develop for these and those mainboards. PC users do indeed confront a lot of incompatibility issues (videocard/CPU) but it's nothing you can't fix.

@nokia9able galaxy will have the 2.3 and 2.3.3 (there is no 2.4 yet) updates coming. It's really upto the vendor to release the update to the phone not google's. Usually HTC and Samsung have a history of releasing updates for their old phones while Sony Ericsson doesn't. You can always root your phone and put 2.3.3 in it. XDADevelopers web site has many roms there,
