I just don't get it. I've had this figure since the day it hit retail. EVERYONE loves this guy. I just don't understand why... he's very "blah" in my opinion. Transformation is not very fun, His vehicle mode is not as solid as it could be, certainly not as solid as Scourge is. In Vehicle Mode, his legs/center thrusters are (unless I am mistransforming) not able to peg together either leg to leg or even the halves of each leg. This leaves the center mass of the vehicle to be flimsy.

Today I got my Cyclonus at a supmermarket. Dont wrong me: I like it and the addition of Nightstick is cool, but (its just my opinion) I found the figure too "plastic" compared with Sideswipe, Sunstreaker or Hound. Despite this flaw I really liked it and I`m happy to found it too. The Universe classics 2.0 series is really getting rare and hard to find, at leat in my country (Chile). Regards and I see frequently your video reviews which in fact are very cool and instructive.

I just bought Galvatron and Cyclonus, and they are both amazing! Two of my favorite characters, nearly perfect design to fit the characters from the show. I recommend them both if you can find them.

Well to me Alternity series is the choice, not because universe cyclonus is a bad figure (to me he is really awesome). Its just that the detail put into a Alternity figure is awesome, I mean even the vehicle interiors are accurately made and the only way that you could tell that its a transformer is by the lines. But in the end its all up to you because everyone has a different opinion rite?

because for some reason he was able to get this version which was an error on the part of the manufacturers giving him a grey nosecone (which they made ppurple to correct it) and Nightstick was also made grey (before they also fixed him making him black and dark purple instead). i dont think youd be able to get THIS version anywhere part from ebay. stores would probably have the corrected version

It's called a pre-release version, soft of like a beta-type that made for testing before release to the market. They do this to let people judge it's color scheme and all and then receive their feedback and then only release the better one to the market.

This is definitely an impressive figure. The vehicle mode is awesome, the transformation is brilliant, and the stability and poseablity of the figure is incredible. The joints and interlocking parts are very solid. Possibly the best overall figure I have.

One of the very few things I despise about TF in general, is the lack of continuity. In Gundam, Macross, the timeline spans hundereds of years, main charachters die, technology advances, and there is a tapestry to the story. TF is a fucking mess.

Well, the minibots of G1 were pretty sweet, IMHO. I mean, Cliffjumpuer/Bumblebee, Warpath, Beachcomber, Seaspray, Powerglide, Cosmos, etc. I don't know about you, but those little guys were pretty nice back in 1984-85. Even today, they are sweet.

The only reason I did not get the encore set is that it did not have the afforementioned minibots I loved the most. Instead it had Bran, Wildrider, and a few other no-names.

The TFC Takara #12 box goes for over $80 on eBay...damnit. lol

Darker grey tank mode with a black wash, left the cannon completely alone, blue where the dark purple was black feet, dark grey shin guards and the super glue fix. why cant hasbro get these toys right? nice vid 5/5

For many years I was angry at Hasbro because, emong other things, they didn´t make a targetmaster Universe release.

They have a nice Slugslinger mold and a bunch of minicons that transform into hand guns (the third mode was easy to explain, ´cos Daniel´s exo suit had a third "car" mode).

But the wait was worthy. We have now a new mold!!
