  • What the fuuuuuuckk..... I completely agree with

"wearereplicants" this is pretty fucking great. If you distorted this all with a Freqbox i bet it'd sound pretty mean.

  • Totally AWESOME!!

  • A M A Z I N G !!! : )

  • @ChemicalComedown Thank you!

  • Very cool percussive sounds! Are those two Zeroscillators I see there?

  • @arthurpainter Thanks for the nice comment. No , there are no ZO's here. I think what you are seeing is a Buchla 259 oscillator. Cheers.

  • this is the best thing I have ever heard come out of a buchla. and I fucking love buchlas.

  • @wearereplicants Thanks!

  • this is multitrimbral? or is an effect in the 250e that make multi-sound?

    thanks

  • @nicolausala Hi. Can you state you're question in a different form? I am not quite sure what you are asking. Thank you.

  • @hyperguy61 sorry. i can't figure out where the sound came from because it is polyphonic. but in the end of the video i see you use the 227!!!

  • @nicolausala From Right to Left in the 227e , first sound you hear is a 259 , second , a 261e , and the third and fourth , 259e. With enough gates and vca's everything is happening in real time. Hope this helps. Joe

  • finally !!! someone who deserves to have this gear.. cheers man.

  • @septopia Thank you :)

  • Ok this is getting better !

  • hello Hyperguy

what we hear is only generated by Buchla we see?

I have a question, do you think you can create these sounds on a EURORACK?

congratulations, a nice way of using the Buchla

    Mauro

    (sorry for the google-translation)

  • @elektriksofa Hello. Everything you hear is created on the Buchla in real time. In my opinion , you can possibly create similar sounds , but not exactly these sounds. To my ears , the Buchla is quite unique. Thank you for your nice comments. Joe

  • too much cables for meh

  • GOOD JOB!!!!

  • why don't any of you modular wizards record direct in?.... camera mics are horrible, absolutely dreadful quality.... It really takes away like 40% of the experience for me at least.....

  • @KaslarProductions I have begun doing this with the last video I posted (259e Movie) and will continue to do it in the future , as I agree the sound quality is much better. Thanks for watching.

  • HEAVY!! oh my goooddd i am in love with your buchla vids. the quality of the sounds that come out of these buchla synths are just incomparable with most synth patches i've ever heard.

  • Oh my goodness. The percussion that can be made on the buchla is just unreal. So so so jealous.

  • My god there is just so much richness to the sound of the Buchla. Ive never heard anything like it from any other modular. Even in youtube quality it frequently blows me away compared to videos of other modulars/non modular synths. Gongratulations on your purchase! Good choice!

  • So, Im not so certain about modular synths. Can you tell me exactly what sound projection device this is running into? Amp? Mixer -> speakers? Thanks!

I have an Access Virus A, and that just goes out of a 1/4 inch cable jack lol.

  • @azombiestool Hi. The output of the Buchla 200e is also 1/4 phone jacks. That is , as long as you order the 227e module. If you don't have a 227e module in the system , you could use the output of the 292e which is a voltage controlled amplifier. In this example , the output of the 200e goes to the apogee converter then into the computer.

  • Very cool (btw I like the TV noise at the beginning - added to the vibe :)

  • oooohsome! ; )

But shouldn't ya defuse the bomb before making music? ^^

  • I think it's Buchla on the door :f

  • Very nice rhythmics. Just perfectly melodic and glitchy patterns. A thumping drum pattern would make this a perfectly rounded hit!

  • killer. more please.

  • I would really like a recorded file of this, such heavy sounds

  • Ill bill ..

  • Wow, sounds killer.

  • very clever nice to see someone making a beat.... as opposed to random sound :D this would fit right into a deadma5 song :P

  • very clever nice to see someone making a beat.... as opposed to random sound :D this would fit right into a deadma5 song :P

  • really sick! great job

  • lol what is it?

  • Savage!!!!!

  • i love how almost every video i've watched of one of thesee and some other synths there is at least one comment about deadmau5 :P

  • This is very very cool !

    Great post.

  • Nice! Thumbs up for this! :)

  • I thought for a second there they were saying Joel Zimmerman.... Deadmau5. Would be fitting as he uses a lot of this style of sound.

  • he uses this very synth for his live shows

  • not anymore

  • A really nice bit there, good pattern, well chosen echo

See my page soon for a demo on 200e by Ezra Buchla himself!

  • Sounds wonderful. Just the right amount too, IMO. I'm impressed with how warm the Logic verb sounds. What speakers are you using?

  • ADAM A-7's glad u like it!

  • Wow. Is that the room or are you adding verb? If so what is it?

  • it's actually a combination of both , the room adds its own touch , and here i am using a bit of "space designer" in logic. one of my favorite reverbs. :)

  • Comment removed

  • It's hard to believe that thing makes all that noise.

It's melodic, it's percussive, no wonder they call it the electronic music box!

  • By the way, it sounds fantastic through my Sennheisers!

  • amazing sound quality

  • best 200e vid ever!

    we want more! :D

  • i'm guessing the great sound from those non-200e oscillators has something to do with it, they sound awesome!

  • Actually , most of what you hear is the 259e , and 261e. The only sound from a non-200e osc. is the very first sound you hear in channel 4. That is the 259.

  • yay!

  • oh my god I love you....

  • nice groove!!!

  • Again, what a freakin' sound. Wowee zowee.

What's that bit sounds like glass?

    Too short, we want more!

    Thanx..!

  • the "glassy" sound is the 261e ... makes me happy , this machine ..

  • Cool demo, thanks for posting!

What are those three modules in the middle of your lower panel?

  • The lower boat , left to right has , 261e , 258 (verbos clone) , 259 , 250e.
