The thing people forget, or are just unaware of, is the traditional difference between Lowland and Highland Scots, who's culture, allegiances and political motives were, in times past, very separate from one another. People also ignore the Dynastic elements behind medieval conflicts. Most of Europe's wars during the middle ages had nothing to do with nationality, but rather the claims made by the various monarchs of the times.

This was a great SOUNDTRACK. it was a great MOVIE. Not very historically accurate, but was amazing. It showed the true way our human race sees eachother.
