@MrShadyspots I agree, it crashes a lot. If you get the .dll fix and turn colours to 512, then it crashes less often. Try turning off some of the other fancy stuff it comes with, like shadow distance.

for some reason i cant get my broken steel to work i beat the game and the credits role thats it i dont wake up 2 weeks later do i have to let the credits role is there anything i have done wrong or something i missed if anyone could help i would be greatfull....i have the ps3 version

@metalfan0125 u have to let the cut scene finish that describes your life and then you wake up, try to reinstall or do what i did sell your ps3 and get the whole game with all add ons free, trust me pc is best console you won't regret it

@metalfan0125 i haven't beaten the game yet but it seems to be working for me so far. my guy was stuck at level 20 until i got broken steel now i can gain more exp. got the heavy incinerator. hopefully you'll get to play it.

So after you complete broken steel your still aloud to free-roam? Like it wont end as the normal fallout 3 does meaning i cant carry on playing because its my last save at the water purifiier place. Basicly i wanna get broken steel if its lets me roam about after completing that too.

So i just beat the origional game with no expansion pack. I love the game but i was pissed. I saved right b4 the radiation chamber and my auto save did to O.O So pretty much im stuck beating the game at level 14 with no choice of leaving. With the Broken steel expansion pack do i get to keep playing or does it revive me? and also. is the main quest gonna do the same BS where i cant keep exploring again? And if so whats the main quests name so i dont do it lol!!!!!! Comments are helpful ty!

If you install Broken Steel you wake up 2 weeks after the 'ending' and continue exploring and doing other quests so it's well worth getting. In fact it sounds like the only way you can solve your autosave problem!

Broken Steel is only good for the Tesla Cannon, new perks and being able to continue past the main quest. Fighting the Deathclaws and Adams Air Force Base is fun, but it's short as a whole. Point Lookout on the other hand is a real expansion. You actually get to explore a map and do some interesting sidequests, instead of isolation like OA and The Pitt.

broken steel will be relesed on a disk along with point lookout on aug. 18th. its the same way they put op. ancorage and the pitt together on a disk. hope that helps (sorry bout the spelling) ) O.o
