Either that or you didnt wire the gates up properly. You may have forgot to tick or untick important options on the ranger tool itself.

whats the diference between "and (ALL)" and "multiply" gate?

Multiply gate will multply 2 or more numbers while an AND (ALL) is something that outputs a 1 whenever all of the inputs are 1. So if it's linked to 2 buttons then if both buttons are on then the and gate is on. You could skip this madness and learn Expression Gate 2.

lol, i bought the game not even a week ago and i use the most annoying e2 contraption ever!

it is a little floating camera (can be found on youtube) that can ignite, grab, push or push'n'ignite and you can do that on people as well, which is very annoying and has almost gotten me banned 2 times (never happend)

but i only stole it and i dont know how it works but i havent read the script yet because im lazy :P now ye had something to read!

Great, but there is an easier way to make a ranger trigger, Check the Default to zero, ignore world, show beam, and Output distance on the ranger and then just wire it to a Gate comparsion that is on: Not Equal, then simply just wire gate to ranger and turret to gate :)

True and a method I use often, the not equal to 0 gate where B defaults to 0 so theres very little wiring.

because we want the turrent to only fire when the ranger is less than 200, if we didnt provide a number like 200 it wouldn't know where the limit was and would cause a chain reaction that could cause the very fabric of space time to collapse.... I thought that was clear.

When Im doing the auto turret, i put down everything, but the indicator light stays on, and the turret keeps shooting. Ive noticed some others have noticed this too. Any tips?

Ah, problem solved. It works fine using a greater than gate rather than less than, and a constant value of 0.

What I suggest for this is using the "Find measurement tool" and finding the distance you want to shoot the turret at and the minimum distance.

What I did, is I took the measurement tool and I found the distance, I used a doorway, so I found the distance between the doorway and I set if anything is less than that distance and more than one, then shoot the turret. Explosives work even nicer though. :)

Hey I a question, in the Ranger tut when I try to wire the input to the Gate won't work, I can't click on the Input so I have to use the Gate to the input, which would disconnect another thing like the Ranger or Constant Value, please answer.

the ranger has outputs. outputs can be linked to any input and this won't remove the link from other inputs connected to the ranger. you need to wire the input (less than gate A) to the ranger and then right click the less than gate till it says B then link B to the constant value. I think you're just misunderstanding the difference between inputs and outputs. I hope this helps.

On the triggered actions section you said to place a "greater than" chip on the buggy. But later you said to wire the "less than" chip to the thrusters. That's pretty confusing considering that you never put a "less than" chip on the buggy.
