To answer the question: I could care less if people un-friended me. Also... On Facebook, there is a setting that you can put those 'not so interesting people' as hidden. Doesn't un-friend the person, just hides their posts on the 'status update' wall. This is how to do it: Find a post from the friend you want to hide. Mouse over somewhere in the top right corner of that post. There should be a thing that appears saying, 'Hide.' Click it and a bar will appear asking for confirmation. That's it!

Well, I've never had this happened to me. I've unfriended some ppl on fb tho since I don't like them that much. fb is my only social network site and i use it like an IM/mail account so it would be quite inconvenient if somebody I like unfriended me.
