Hey man, very good effort. Learning Guthrie songs is definitely the way forward! I do however think you're trying to play faster than you can handle at the moment, so I would just suggest slowing it down to a speed where you're completely comfortable and make no mistakes; then gradually speed it up from there. I also think including more alternate picking would be really good. Try alternating on the intro riff; I guarantee you'll find it easier. Hope this helps man. Good luck and keep going!

I know how hard is to get started on the whole youtube thing. I've made 30 something videos already and the video that has more views has 1000 views. I thought i'd step by and be the first comment! How does it feel?
@mashafasha5 feels good to actually do something somewhat productive. I'm waiting until after the holidays so I have some money to invest into some better recording equipment. I'll probably start by redoing this video and get an in depth review of my guitar stuff and sort of go from there. My hope is for this to evolve into something reminiscent of David Wallimann's channel with lessons and tutorials. I'm only a junior in high school, so I've got time before I start getting in depth with that.
