i think they actually did pretty good job with covering this.

All in all it is very very very difficult song to cover live (especially for the drummer)

and if they would do the 10 minutes drum solo, the audience could be bored, cuz they are propably not the led zeppelin fans

He's got the snare work kinda going. I would suggest more left hand accents (variations of RlrLrlRlrlRlrL). Also, work on the RLrrll RLrrll diddle and alternate the R between the rack and floor tom... it's a HUGE theme in Moby Dick. Throw some triplets in here and there, and you're set. Don't stop playing. You got this.

the solo wasn't bad but in my opinion, since the solo wasn't at all like the original dick, than i think the intro and outro could have been your own original song. it would have made you guys look better and you wouldn't be getting negative comparisons to Bonham. Listen to "Toad" by Cream, thats where led zeppelin got their idea for moby dick.
