Blue is a part time actress (of sorts) and she's already booked a holiday in Hawaii so the producer says, "look, get us some decent footage of a skydiving trip. I'll clear the expenses for the trip and the camera guy and give you 100 bucks on top." She's getting paid for something she'd like to have done on holiday anyway.
