Hey do you know anything about bettas if you do listen up

Well i put my girl betta with my boy and he chased her

Then i put her with my bros the same

So then i put her in her own and 3 days later i found eggs on the bottem of the bowl

People say they belong on the top and need to be fertilazed how can i fertilize them if hes trying to kill her?

@Moshimonsterable Seeing as you don't understand how to properly go about breeding, I would consider NOT trying to breed your betta. In fact, I advise highly against it. Bettas are extremely territorial and even when attempting to breed them one or both fish can be injured or killed. Do yourself a favor and just leave them be.

well some stores sell apple snails as mystery snails but the one difference is when they're laying eggs. apple snails go above the water line and lay the eggs, mystery snails lay them below the waterline, ect...

thats pretty much how you tell them apart,

ivory mystery snails, are actually an apple snail. and i know this because of experience since i have 4 day old and smaller ivory apple snails crawling in my tank,

i have a bunch of apple snails in my aquarium too, they dont eat that much algae but they decorate the tank nicely, they are interesting to watch. They LOVE apple slices, i usually drop a bunch in the day before i clean out my tank. they also love cucumber slices, peas, plants, lettuce...most fruits and veg slices.

they dont swim but they can sort of glide on the water and float around.

I know what you mean :) , i went to the pet store last week and they had loads of snails what they think of as a pest , and i asked if i could get them for my aquarium they said no problem :) , 4 real big trumpet snails +-4 cm and some gilled snails pretty big , i was happy like a little child lol . They are now in my 60x40x30 breed tank :)

i have a snail problem! i brought 3 snails from my local fish shop and i had these egg filled jelly sacs in a couple of weeks and they looked absolutely disgusting, plus my fish became ill and one died of white spot after i introduced the snails (stress?) so i took the snails all out and chucked them out into a pond^^ i eventually turned to a chemical snail stunner thingy since they kept reappearing!

the downside unfortunately is the "mass" reproduction of snails, if you don't keep up with them, they will over take your tank... the jelly sacs are the eggs they lay n lay n lay nonstop... good luck...

hi, i think that any snail from like, walmart or kmart would be good for your fish bowl, be aware tho that it/they will multiply fast and could over take the bowl. The mystery snails so they call them are really apple snails and could grow quite large in time and if the environment is big enough. U don't have to give any real special care to them or food, they seem to eat food at the bottom and algea on the sides of the aquarium. I do feed mine cucumber slices and they LOVE it... : )

HI, Yes, Mystery snails are "Apple" snails. I didn't know that either when I posted this to You Tube..someone let me in on it after the fact. I was told that Apples are sexed, and you can tell by the male. (that was what I was told) I beleive tho that they're hemaphrodites, as I usually get hundreds of lil snails showing up certain times of the year without ever seeing any copulation. I feed them lettuce and a lot of cucumber slices weighed down by lead sinkers for fishing.they LOVE cukes.
