Seriously?

1: You can't softmod the 360 to change the LED color... you have to change the LEDs. Also: case modding a 360 doesn't damage it (if done properly), or cause RROD.

2: I have personally dismantled HUNDREDS of 360s, and vertical/horizontal positioning has no effect that I can see on motherboard warp profiles or GPU heat. Vertical play *can* damage your DVD drive during prolonged play, so just install your games, and you're good.

@LaSantaDeVita even if you do install ur games, the 360 still gets hot maybe not as hot but you're still best off leaving it horizontally because the biggest vent is on the bottom, and the disks are more likely to get scratched if it your entertainment center or whatever you have the 360 on shakes, and dont even try to tell me I'm wrong because I know from experience

the RROD is caused by to much heat... i would think that if this guy is smart enough to put in a LED fader that he would be able to prevent the RROD with proper ventilation

All you need is a Jasper chipset... Mines in a cubby hole type thing, laying horizontal... and I can play it for HOURS upon HOURS and it never even gets warm to the touch... I think RRoD is finaly over...  =D

At the end of the day its all about the enjoyment and therefore the line up of games available. Yes the PS3 has a greater hardware but I just feel that at the moment microsoft have the better range of games. It more about what you get out of the games rather than just bickering about who has an SD slot of rumble controller. If both consoles had worthless games then we wouldn't rate either of them.

hahaha you really don't know your facts do you, blu-ray is slow, I mean slow, some developers take to copying some code on the disc in different areas, so the blu-ray laser has ess to travel, just as it travels there so slowly, the Xbox 360 actually has a more powerful GPU than that of the ps3, the only thing the ps3 has going for it is cell proccessing, and thats not enough to justify the £300 - £400 price tag, or enough to make good games.
