eyy i know this is a very old video but im wondering what render settings and programs you used to produce a final product of this quality?

@azzafrrr well I used sony vegas and im sure it was a wmv file, but due to the video consisting of still pictures it will give the impression of quality as there is no chance of tearing.

look at irrlicht engine :P, i was able to get parallax mapping (some form of it) on a Radeon 9200 (8500 series DX *8*! card)

consoles do use it, but not as much as pc games do.

as an example- FEAR on xbox uses it for bullet holes but not for textures.

crysis is one of the only games that uses POM for nearly every surface texture.

i'm not a computer expert my friend but one thing and basicaly i know.. dx10 is more eyecandy and High defenition graphics compare to the old version of direct x wich is 9

direct X is het stuurprogramma voor je grafische kaart. waarop je kaart dus werkt, en direct x 10(nieuwste versie) ziet het er allemaal net wat beter uit, het nadeel is dat spelletjes vaak minder mooi draaien. slechte performence dus, en dan krijg je dat het beeld gaat stotteren maar dat verschil is niet groot.
