That was the Marty Stuart show. Marty and his wife Connie are legends in their own right. EmmyLou is a prescious doll. This is my fav song also.

I saw Earl back in the 80's around Hodges Ala. He'd come to some old country churches that didn't even have an inside bathroom, walk in looking so handsome with his suit on , and sit down and play the piano and sing. We all sure enjoyed it. Such a down to earth person who seemed to really want to reach the people with his music.
