Not like tense in the sense of playing a fast action game such as Halo or Battlefield. Just a weird feeling of stress. Same for "The Black Couldron" and "Torrin's Passage." That wasnt easter eggs. It was a bug. Bugs are things that help you in game. It could possibly be glitch too... A glitch is a thing that programmers didnt think of just like bug... but it doesnt help you. In matter of a fact. Easter egg is HIDDEN thing thats supposed to be in game.
I could definitely see that happening...The little message at the end of it makes me think it was somewhat more intentional. Either way, it freaked me the crap out the first time I tried it.
I read in my old manual that there is an Easter egg at that part, but I have the CD version and was getting so frustrated trying to figure it out! Thanks for showing us. :)

it's obviously an egg because there is a MESSAGE from the programmer who created it! both the boat and the monster are from later in the game...a-duh.

cool glitch..those "sea serpents" used to always scare the crap out of me when I was playing the game....but looking at them now they remind me of dragons...and I love dragons...
I think that's impossible, because he is wearing a cape, and he has another cape in his bag. Besides, you have to use the cape earlier in the snow area, so yeah...

I have the floppy disk version, so I should check this out (no Voice Acting FTW!) Actually, having no voice acting scarred the scary moments of KQ into my brain, and now it haunts me @_@.
But yeah anyways...
In KQ I save like everytime I use an item because I never knew if it'd make beating the game impossible (like the pie part), so I should have a file close to here.
