This all should not have been an issue. Wooten did enough to cause him to be fired, but he got a slap on the wrist. If a brother in law in my family did what he did and threatened my family...trust me, there would be plenty of talk about his firing. So Todd Palin talked about him being fired, obviously people did not seem too forced to fire Wooten because scary enough, he is still a trooper. Have a run in with the guy, and you can see why he should have been fired.

This comment is for Kshaw23...The judge didn't rule in his favor over the tazering his 10yr old or Mr Wooten drinking in his patrol vehicle...It was an internal investigation and was handled withing the Alaskan State Police. Internal investigations arent handled by judges, but by the department, which Mr Monegan was apart. Doing an internal disiplines eliminates the officer of any criminal arrest or punishments. Learn about what you are talking about. Mr Monegan didnt do his job and lost it.
