  • I hated the radio for not playing this song enough.

89 was a sucky time for music an the radio never played the good songs. Good songs like this.

  • ann curless. gorgeous still......

  • Hottest girls of the time...i was in love with Gioa back then and i still am today....she's hot

  • love Expose. Gioa 's voice is amazing. :)

  • i don't remember this song? but its nice!

  • i dont remember this song as a kid...

  • This song is so inspirational! "No more fighting in this land"!

  • I can remember the first time I heard this song: July 24 1989, walking through San Diego Airport after graduating Marine Corps Boot Camp. It was the first video & song I'd listened to after 3 months.

I still have the TAPE and NO I am not going to put it on E-bay Bret.

    Gioa's voice is AMAZING!

I'm still waiting for the "Where are they now?" on VH-1.

  • Deliver A Messiah Mistaken Identity, By Agron Belica..

  • Such a great song. Fantasticly produced !

It has a 'melancholic' sound in it,

that really brings back the 80s !

    Expose s best song !

  • My all time fav!!!

  • Great song. Their image was more polished here, compared to their early videos. The big hairdos and the flashy slutish clothes were gone.

  • I kind of like the original line-up a bit better, but these girls were great....Gioa still kicks ass!

  • they said she was crying when she peformed this song and in the video you have to watch closely tho at 1:56

  • Strong message, this song garnered rave reviews by the critics. A more serious, artistic side of the group. Gioia Bruno at lead vocals!!!!

  • This is by far my favorite song of theirs! It is sooo fun to get up to dance to! ;)

  • love the kickass 80s denim/leather look.

  • 1989 / Lead vocals, Gioia Bruno / Album , What You Don't Know

  • It's dail my heart from the boys

  • Thanks but thats not it. I think it's the sound in the backround just a bit quieter than the music that's what i'm thinking of.

  • Maybe it's Martika Toy Soldiers?

  • Hmmm I don't quite think so. I love that song! I think it's the "du du du" in the backround. if you know what i mean. thanks for trying to help me :).

  • maybe one song of paula abdul.. i guess, but i dont know the name either.. try. =)

  • Is it Straight Up?

  • yes!!... just the beginning its similar with "straight up" from paula abdul... what do u think?.. hey horsegirl, check the song. =)

  • It echoes in my head! I love it! I love Exposé!!!!!

  • another awesome song and video by 1 of my alltime favorite female groups we need them back with new music today so they can show these wannabees how things are done the right way

  • Thanks for posting this video. I'm a big Expose fan. Gioia is my favorite member, although I love them all. This song is fabulous. A terrific sound with a message that needs to get over. You can't get a more perfect combination than that. And, it's as relevant today as it was back then when it was recorded.

  • It's good to hear that Gioia is back with the group, I love these girls. I remember exactly where I was when I first heard this song, my friends and I were driving from Carbondale to Chicago stopped at a gas station and this song comes on the radio, it was on Rick Dee's Weekly Top 40. Love you, EXPOSE and will forever be fan!

  • it was a very popular dance clud music in miami

it was a time to remenber went they play life at miami clubs

  • I prefer the album version from 1988 as opposed to this 1990 re-recording.

  • 'Tell Me Why' is by far, my FAVORITE EXPOSE SONG!

I heard it a few times on 96.3 ~ B96 in Chicago back in 1989,

then never heard it again for many years. It took me a decade to

find out who the artist was of this song. turned out it was by Expose! a group i knew for their awesome freestyle songs. And now, finally, I see the video to this amazing song.

  • ya know, I didn't say enough 2 months ago....so let me start again.

  • Good News!! Just posted at Gioia's MySpace page!!

    http://www.myspace com/gioiab

    EXPOSE IS BACK -- AND...

GIOIA BRUNO herself will be there for the November 29, 2006 concert (Milwaukee, WI) and there is a FULL TOUR Planned for 2007!!!

You can read her blog at her site! :) :) :) :) :)

  • this was a very under-appreciated single

  • Yeah....a single with an openly anti-gang message. It's songs like that that should make young people think TWICE before destroying their lives by joining a vicious street gang.

  • ginao have a myspace

    myspace/gioiab

  • wow the lead singer can sing

  • Did they win any awatds? I know they sold a lot of records and they were way better than Wilson Philips!

  • They look fantastic in this video! I know this song has a serious message, but I almost want to see them do their dance routine here. They were great live!

  • their most hype MTV!! heehee.. loved the look!

  • Great song with a great message. And Expose are sexy too.
