I hope this idiot realizes that her unwanted, unnecessary and unwarranted interaction with this animals caused her to lose the baby. She only rescued it from herself.

The mother possum was only hurrying up the tree with seemingly little regard for her babies because that IDIOT messed with it. And then she began yelling which only caused the possum not to consider going back down for the rescue.

Possums don't carry rabies. That's a common misunderstanding that unfortunately I found out later AFTER I shot and killed one on our farm that I thought had rabies (all because it was out in the daylight). I did some research later and realized what an idiot I was. I now appreciate the animal and will NEVER make that same mistake again.
