Mpc1000 patched phrase video

hey guys ive had my mpc 1000 for 3 years now and i never do patched phrase cause if i slice a sample into 16 parts and patch phrase it, it just makes it play the whole sample but pauses for every slice. what gives?? i need help guys ive watched this video multiple times over the years and still cant get it to just do 16 chops and adjust to the tempo automatically.. using jjos buut even on akai os it dosnt work. pleese helpppp

yeah dope. just what im looking for but is this on the akai operating system??? i can make patched phrases from my loops and i start them in the sequencer but they are not time stretching like yours does??? seems like i do everything the same way and was wondering if it is the akai os?? thanks keep rocking the free west

when i record it either stops in the middle after a few bars or records it weird and it sounds all glitchy and not how i played it

how can I find out the actual BPM / tempo of my original sample? the MPC gives you the original temp in the screen at 0:49 (Convert to: Patched Phrase) but is this really the true value?

can you up wav files or midi files soundfonts etc... to the mpc1000 frmo your pc, and does the 1000 use zip drives or cds

what actually is a patched phrase? does it just automatically tap put the beat for you? this doesnt sound any different from drums i chop and record myself. when you slow it down you gonna get the gaps the master tempo obviously aint gonna effect the pitch of the samples son

when i patch prhase i get gaps when i slow the tempo down. anyone know what the fook is going on here? im following this demo exactly. and its about to get my mpc tossed out the window haha.

I've gotten smarter on this. If you go to the AKAI website, then you can download the updated Operating System, and you should be able to slice. The download explains all of the different updates that you will have.

Nice. I notice there's none of that annoying "stuttering" that many samplers/programs do if you time-stretch a sample.
