  • @musichalloffame

It's based on the the story of 'The Odyssey'. Only very losely though. It's about three men who have escaped from a 'chain gang prison' etc etc haha~

  • LOL from 2:11 to 2:17 the transcribe audio didn't even know what they were saying it just said "..uh" "..uh" "..uh" lol.

Also a question, what is this movie about? is it a retelling of a diffrent story? I have watched it years ago and trying to figure out what it was about.

  • Come on in boys... The water is fine!

  • "Well, that's it boys! I been redeemed. The preacher done' washed away all my sins and transgressions. It's the straight n' narrow from here on out...and heav'n everlastins' my reward.... neither God nor mans' got nuttin' on me know!..."

    This scene kills me! :)

  • u notice before he gets up he calls clooney a miserable little snitch

  • i found that this movie was full of these scenes. they'd be talking and as they're talking they notice something but continue talking about their original topic while paying attention to what they noticed and their voices trail off about the original topic.... my head is spinning

  • clooney(is thats how you spell it is) seeeeeeeeeeexy!!!!!!!!!

  • would you believe my mom bought a little clock at piggly wiggly and the dang thing still works that clock is older than my brother whose 34 wow

  • i LOVE language they speak with its grammar and pronunciation..

  • The preacher was played by a friend of mine, Harlan Powell. To quote Harlan "Several weeks later, brothers Joel and Ethan Coen, the producers of the movie, came to town and called me out to their office for an interview.

That turned out to be my Two Minutes of Fame. In a backwater lake off the Mississippi river at Vicksburg, I would baptize the dimwit Delmar, an escaped convict, as his two accomplices played by George Clooney and John Turturro stood on the bank and watched."

  • killer scene!!!

  • Oh Mothers lets go down, come on down , don't you wanna go down.

    Beautifl song

  • You stole from my kin!

Who was fixing to betray us!

You didnt know that at the time

So I borrowed it until I did know.

    That dont make no sence

Pete, its a fool who looks for logic int the chambers of the human heart, now... what the hell's that singing?

    EPIC!!!!!!!

  • "No thank you, Delmar. A third of a gopher would only arouse my appetite without beddin' her back down."

  • One of my favorite movies, along with others like Blazing Saddles, History of the World by Mel Brooks. Classics all.
