Good video but you probably sat in the worst part of the plane for my liking. I like towards the back, behind the wing and sitting on the side in which you can see the airport buildings and planes on take-off.
@FRplane Thanks, but I always go for Row 7 on this side. I absolutely hate flying behind the wing because it's too noisy, the front of the plane is quieter and you hear better engine sounds. I basically have a tradition to sit near the front on the right :) just feels better!
@A190Simulations Oh right, I prefer the engine sounds behind the wing and think its a bit quieter. The engines seem to make a more buzzing sound infront of the wing and it annoys me, I prefer the rumble you get on takeoff behind the wing and depending what runway direction is active depends which side I sit. I guess everbody has different preferances, but I always sit by a window.
Nice video! I'm very surprised the pilot chose not to taxi all the way to the end of the runway, if they are bound for the Canaries they almost always taxi right to the end, due to the weight! That was why you lifted off late.
@TheHDvideographer Indeed, but we were about 10 minutes late and this would've picked up at least 2, the rest was done in the air. There's a video somewhere of this exact flight taking off but can't remember where to find it! Thanks for the compliment on the video, too :-)
@1065chris Yeah it did, almost all of the runway! I'm going to Lanzarote this Saturday so i'll get another Ryanair takeoff from EMA and see if it does the same! Expect an inbox!
@CaptainFlybe Ohhh buggar! Sorry mate but Ryanair don't give you a boarding pass with a seat number, you have to choose it yourself! I did write my seat number down but unfortunately today i've flown to Edinburgh and can't see my check in pass with the seat number on :( Advice for Ryanair: Get priority Q, ITS WORTH IT!!! And ALWAYS sit infront of the engine! :) Sorry I can't tell you the seat number though, hope you enjoy your break!
That Whine at 6:10 makes the hairs on my neck stand on end!! absolutly amazing sound, along with the buzz roar as he slams it on full chant!! Wow!! :-D
@CaptainFlybe Yeah, they are excellent sounds! It would be great though if Ryanair tended to use more throttle on the approaches, then we could hear a lot more of the whining! :) That being said, I would never class any turbofan higher than a Rolls Royce RB211 ;)
@CaptainFlybe By the way, i'm just about to put together my filming of the Fuerteventura takeoff and I believe just before we enter the runway there is an excellent spool up sound again! Also captured a good de-rate and climb back up to full thrust :) It'll be up in a few hours or so
@ematom1 With a load like we had, It must have been brimmed! The canaries is just about the furthest a conventional 737 can go with this sort of load.
