Wait a minute, you're just as retarded as I am. Nintendo didn't own Rare, they had an exclusivity deal with them. MS came in and offered a shit load of millions and the Stamper brothers took the deal (who wouldn't have) and left Rare for some tropical island paradise. Nintendo offered a big amount of money to Rare but it wasn't near as much. So they didn't sell Rare.

But one of my friends said that he talked to one of Rare's employees, and that person said that Microsoft is severely strict and that they're eventually going to try to develop Conker 2 and maybe even quit. I don't believe him though.
