I started watching anime on [adult swim] when I was 3....Back then there was Detective Conan, Big-O, Lupin III, and of course Inuyasha...So yeah manga and anime has become a major part of my childhood. @uniquerinmai WOW thats exactly how i got into anime. I started with [adult swim] when there was the shows you listed. Then I got into toonami with Yu Yu Hakusho, Rurouni Kenshin, and Naruto. Later on in [adult swim] I watched Eureka 7, Samurai Champloo, Cowboy bebop, and Death Note. For anyone who hasn't seen Death Note, I recommend it. Its probably one of the best anime series I have seen yet.

Interesting Story, the whole girl-to-guy-to-panda is funny. For me the first time i began watching anime was over at my friend kyles house probably around five years ago. He introduced me to Naruto and it was right-off-the-bat a great series! I was well entertained and as time went by i came upon different animes such as Death Note, Gungrave, Berserk, Yuyu Hakusho, Hunter x Hunter, Dragonball, Rurouni Kenshin, and many more. Im still hooked on it and find much entertainment from it!

Fullmetal Alchemist will always be the most kickass series in existence!!! Perfect Balance of humor, drama, action, and the storyline is awesome. 1st series was good, but the 2nd series will surpass anything on right now. It's the perfect series to introduce to anyone.

I've stopped watching Naruto. The fillers and pacing issues in Shippuden made it unwatchable for me. I do read the manga. Bleach to me is in a downward spiral But my favorite anime are One Piece Cassheran Sins Samuri Champaloo Monster Trigun Manga its more One Piece Naruto Pokemon Special Love Hina Pluto

Naruto in shipp subs are getting back on track, you should start watching it again. Sasukes fighting some of the atatski (how ever you spell it) its getting good :) but yeah fillers in naruto are worse than bleach fillers... well

Im following naruto ship (subs) and bleach (english dub) but im looking for another anime to watch to take up my time while im doing jack all. now im concidering death note (no idea what its about) but i just wondered if it had plenty of action and in depth storyline that you know keeps you wanting to watch thge next episode. Or any other anime that like that.

go for death note I have watched Naruto and Bleach both for incredibly entertaining anime shows but Death Note is the best just because of its in depth story line and its characters. If you want to know a brief summary of it Death Note is about a guy who finds a note that allows him to kill the person whose name is written in the notebook.

Thanks man, does it have action/fights kinda thing or is it more based on the characters. Ive been told its really good but i think i might be too used to action anime, anyway ill give it a go. My way is to force yourself to watch at least 5 episodes of an anime before judging it =] its worked so far like with bleach it kinda sucked the first couple of eps but then i got hooked.

for Death Note episode 1 it is a bit slow just because its introduction but by episode 2 or 3 the action really begins to start. For action there is a lot of action later in the series but the first half of the series feels like more of a game of cat and mouse. One power tries to outdo the other. It is really interesting you will be hooked quickly
