when i first saw this i thought he used the cdj's to trigger samples on ableton.. since he is using the first two channels to control ableton effects and samples (volume, EQ, etc etc...) i doubt you can use the cdj's to trigger samples on ableton. but think about it... it be bomb it could...

it would be bomb if pioneer made the cdj's midi capable thru the mixer. with a little part that had up down left right buttons... that on ableton would be the shit...

for example i have 2 cdj 1000 mk3, and the djm 800 mixer i have one track in each cd player, in the first cd player i have a track that has 130 bpm,

in the other a track that has 132 bpm

my question is: Can i synchronize de two tracks so i only move the crossfader to deck a or b ??? and mix it simply like that?

there is a setting on the right of the mixer. it should say something like Crossfader. Then from there you can set it to sharp (far left), i forget the middle two, but if you wanna quickly move tracks you can have it on that setting.

What your talking about is beatmatching. U dont synchronise ur two tracks on the mixer, you do this on the actual CD using the Pitch Fader. e.g....the track that is 132bpm will need to be slowed by sliding the pitch fader away from you. once both tracks are beatmatched, then the mixer is only used for making the transition between them....does that answer your question?

or watch dj tutor and beatmatching...but paddy is correct, mixer has nothing to do with pitch/tempo only to combine two+ sound sources at wtv speed they may be at. thats where cdjs or TT's come into play

yes it does the mixer is only connected via rca cables or coax it does all its own beat counting for the effects on board you could use cassette players if you so wished although you would spend that kind of money on a mixer for cassettes :P essentially its a mixer just like all the others
