In the history of humanity it's incredible how the sick, the crazy, and the evil persons almost always are in power, and not the good persons.

It's kind like a novel, always repeating...

Not incredible at all. Altruistic people are not generally motivated to seek power.

Your coment make sense. While in the oposite side, the sociopaths are always looking for power and status.

That's why politics stinks, and use to start wars to send young citizens to dead.

@slowgrabber But the altruistic are motivated to hire agents on their behalf in whom they believe their desires will be carried out. And when those desires are not carried out, they redouble their faith in the agents and try again. And again, and again, and again. In all phases of human endeavor people believe that a static State is the answer, and when it fails, the notion that it didn't have enough resources to prevail is deemed to be responsible and so more is given over.
