Noah is so sweet. His tone and touch with Luke are so perfect, he's so gentle and it's like he knows exactly what to say. He knows when to speak firmly to shut down Luke's false comments about he and Holden. Even when they were first outside, it was like he immediately knew something was wrong. Noah is honestly perfect for Luke, he loves him so much.

I never wanted holden to die but I really don't want yet another person to "die" and return. Holden was one of my favorites but for the sake of a good story he should actually be dead. I love Luke, but I think everyone is giving him too much credit on his acting. He's good, but honestly just crying and saying the lines isn't great acting. Great acting is showing anger and regret and terror and sadness all at once and no one on this show can actually do that...Said with love, not hating.

I can't say that I agree. It just fits in with Noah's personality. Noah is the perfect foil for Luke. Luke is very extroverted and emotional and idealistic, whereas Noah is very logical and introspective. It fits into Noah's character to try and soothe Luke's feelings using logical answers to Luke's doubts. I think Jake played this one very well.
