Illinois was the boss. People forget what a infuence he was on so many tenor men. His sound was one of the best ever to come out of a tenor sax.

Illinois Jacquet..... forever a tenor legend. So great how he set the standard for the powerful and edgy tenor sound, and was an inspiration for Arnett Cobb and Dexter Gordon.
