When I was in Wissembourg, the hotel owner was looking at me intensively-her hotel near a train station was terrible, very old house so I developed allergic reactions right-away. Definitely due to house molds & dust mites.
After paying the bills, we exited France. Before approaching the "invisible" boundery, there were police men "incidentally" doing check-point. They held us, checked our laggages & let us go. In many years travelling Europe, I never had such check-popints before just there-Wissembourg. Nice place but not recommendable.
