yeah the quality was really good for the price, well the next best camera that had quality like it was $600.

but i returned it for the handycam dcr sr47 because i wanted a camera with zoom and pretty good quality, and the webbie only had 5x optical zoom. so i guess if your looking for a great HD camcorder for a good price you should get the webbie.

well i personly like the handycam better beause the zoom is AMAZING and it has a pretty sick touch screen. oh yeah and you can put different kinds of lenses on the handycam like fisheye but on the webbie theres no threads.

i think the handycam has more features, but thats why it costs more the handycam its $399 and the webbie is $199.

just go to the sony store or any store that has both and test them out.

basicly the webbie has HD for a low price

handycam has amazing zoom and HQ

hey, i recently bought a sr47 and i own a mac with final cut pro 5. It does not reconize my camera. when i import videos they will have no audio, but when i try them in imovie, they do.

same problem here. It has to do with the muxed Mpeg-2 output of this cam. It mixes the audio and video together instead of different tracks. I found if I convert the video to Mpeg-4 or DV I can edit it in iMovie.
