@MrJanesaddiction Absolute bullshit. More people work in call centres today than ever worked down the mines, more people work in supermarkets that ever worked on the docks, or the steel plants, or the potteries. Try telling them that they're 'idle twats'. If you're linking 'pride' to the trade union movement, then it isn't really surprising that modern workers have less pride: it's bloody hard to unionise a workforce that is largely part time or temporary.
