Thanks Sons of Maxwell. there are few days that go by where i am not listening to your music. You are a heck of a songwriter Dave and I hope that the good things just keep flowing your way. When is your Canadian tour? *hint hint*
This song is really good! I didn't know about you before seeing your United Breaks Guitar song, but I really like your music! Keep up the amazing work :)
Sons of maxwell are new to me too, I am from the UK and got a link to the song "United Breaks Guitars" from the sound on sound website. (A music magazine forum). Excellent songs guys!
Greetings from Brazil! I'm a country lover and I never heard about son of maxwell, I saw watching Dave's song United Breaks Guitar, witch is awesome! I like ur song, if u guys make a dvd I'll buy it! Awesome! Someday I'll go to USA and I hope to see this live country shows!
Love these guys. They remind me of the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band in the way they are original but also pay homage to traditional songs like "Tell My Ma." Folks, THIS is wholesome, enjoyable entertainment. I could listen to this all day. I just hope I get to see them live some time. How about it guys? Wanna come to Florida? No need to worry. There's a bunch of airlines besides United that fly here. ;-)
Sons of Maxwell has this on a DVD actually. You' d probably have to call and inquire about it though. I bought a copy at a live show a few years back...
I love this song because it is so true! The best things really are the ones that you never thought they would be! I feel like this song is a soundtrack for my life anyways!
The best things are never what you thought they would be... No fooling, eh! By rolling with the punches and not letting them change you, you hit it BIG by punching back at United Airlines. GOOD FOR YOU GUYS! Keep the small town boy inside you alive and healthy!
hey me boyos...about 12 years ago I was busking at the warf in Halifax when I met the sons of maxwell...they were playing that night at the Sheraton? Anyways I went to see them and they had me up to do some songs...pretty cool...keep on rockin'...Owen McE ntee
I found this guy due to his United Breaks Guitars video, but as I look into his many posted songs, Dave Carroll and the Sons of Maxwell both are darned good. I'll be ordering some CD's I am sure.
My Word! You are GREAT! It was your "United Breaks Guitars" that made me discover you. I LOVE you guys! I think this has launched you off to the moon! Can I have your autograph?
I never heard you guys before the United Breaks Guitars song and you are awesome! I want you to get ahold of Steve Soucy in Vancouver and get his song "Went Fishing (and got hooked on you), it is a great country style song, fun and funny and catchy. He is a song writer and musician.
Almost brought a tear to my eyes to see the HRM Fire Patches. Been 4 Years since I left the fire services in Halifax to move to Ontario to look after my mom after my dad died. Love to do a duet with you guys, great work...
do you all do any acoustic songs? Just curious...I'll watch your other videos and hope...good sound though I just perfer acoustic, more old country type but listen to all types
Sorry about your guitar! But, I have found one awesome group. Your harmony, music, fantabuloustic. Never heard of you before. I am a fan!!! Thanks, Keep singing!

Hey Don & Dave, SOM. I like this one.
For anyone that knows you: Your beginnings depicted in a great tune.
Well the best things have now happened and they are surely not what you thought they would be. They are greater.
And you have not lost your small town (Timmins) boy charisma.
You are past being the envy of Bay street!
Heck, you're the envy of YouTube, worlwide. Want to hear this one live at your Xmas hometown concert.
