What I don't understand about this song is that there's two verses that contradict each other, at one point it is "What they say is a lie", and at the end "What they say is true".

@Sperium3000 I thought it was more that he was talking about two different things.

"What they say is a lie, the shots are heard and the bullets scream death as they fly!" He was talking about how they lied about battle, while later

"What they say is true, death does wear blue..." Is him talking about how they were right that death wore blue. They're both different statements he was told.

@epickirby You know, I always thought that the first line was a reference to the old combat adage, "You never hear the bullet that gets you." Saying that they lied and that he can hear them coming as Mega Man fires at him.
