And even with the showier and more technical Betcha Can't Play This videos, it's still musical. Chris Broderick's video for example is definitely fast, but it's a chord progression common throughout classical music. I mean if people heard it played on a Piano, they'd certainly call it musical. Speed does not intrinsically prevent musicality.

Hmm I think I still prefer Corey, Matt is good at this one repeated sextuplet lick and uses it in almost every single one of his solos, it gets pretty old, Corey has a bit more variety in his playing.

@CrockerOfBodom Hm I think Corey has matt beat in sweeping too, Matt is one of those dudes who does legato for the descending notes of a sweep(the first 3 anyhow) which is a pretty lazy habit to get into and I think sounds pretty bad..all the clarity and smoothness of the arpeggio is lost when you do that, although it does make it significantly easier,Corey on the other hand most of the time picks them all the proper way and is just as fast with them so I think he has the edge on matt there too.
