@jjkills123456 I would like to point out that you believe your mind too. I would assume that you trust your mind to give you answers about the question of whether a god exists. Doesn't that seem like a big question and wouldn't you want better evidence than that? I think most skeptics would say they actually don't trust their own minds. That's why the scientific method is so useful. It's the best we have for bypassing our own biases and finding out the truth, whatever it may be.
I've had very bad experiences with God, he is moody, irascible, temperamental, and impervious to knowledge and facts[specially because those contradict His existence,which angers Him more]. Plus, most of His ideas are boring, dumb or too pompous, agh!! Sometimes I think He is just immature and we have to tolerate him until he grows up. So, like you am not angry at God, just annoyed and inpatient at His tantrums and demands for worshiping, He should get a life!

It is perfectly possible for people "just not believing in God". The thing is, unless you have some chip on your shoulder, like some incompatibility with universal morality or sexual morality, you would just ignore the question of the existence of God. If you have such an incompatibility, you will need to convince yourself that God does not exist, and you will need to try to convince other of the same. Just because it can't be actually proved now, doesn't mean it'll always be. It is perfectly possible for people "just not believing in God". The thing is, unless you have some chip on your shoulder, like some incompatibility with universal morality or sexual morality, you would just ignore the question of the existence of God. If you have such an incompatibility, you will need to convince yourself that God does not exist, and you will need to try to convince other of the same. The whole thing about beliving in the Bible for the sake of the Bible is simply not true, I am a Roman Catholic, I believe in apostolic succession and thus must accept the Bible as authoritative text. The idea of sola scriptura is less then 500 years old, and Christianity has been around for more then 2000 years. And society is historiclly pretty good at screwing things up.
